Wrap-up of Photography in 2013: Music

As November draws to an end, City Pages is running a contest to find the top 10 concert photogs in the Twin Cities. It inspired me to go back through this year and grab one or two photos from most of the shows I’ve shot this year. I have to say, it’s been one hell of a year. I’ve seen and photographed some of my musical heroes, crazy! Some are what I think are great photos, and some just bring back memories. On top of that, I’ve met, and have gotten to know a lot of insanely talented photographers that make it that much more of a pleasure to get that last minute “accepted” email because you know you can be sure you’ll see smiling faces in the pit.
