I attended a day of dedication in honor of Michael “Eyedea” Larson in Saint Paul, MN this past Sunday. I wrote a short article along with a lot of photos and a few videos. Click here to see the article.
Ten years after 9/11, the new 35W bridge was bathed in red, white and blue to honor the people we lost. I took these shots from two different locations in Minneapolis, MN.
There is a show coming up on November 18th at the Loring Theater in Minneapolis that is bound to bring back some very familiar songs from ten years ago. The Fattenin’ Frogs are going to be hosting a show entitled: “Up From the Delta: a 10th Anniversary Tribute to O Brother Where Art Thou”. Below are some shots I took over a year ago of the Lily Pads (the backup singers for the Fattenin’ Frogs) and a promotional video I put together for the event.
From the event page: “The Fattenin’ Frogs and The Boys ‘N’ the Barrels will be coming together for “Up From the Delta” a 10th anniversary tribute to the O’ Brother Where Art Thou soundtrack. They will be joined by Javier Matos (of the Innocent Sons) and other special guests for an evening of music taken from and inspired by the movie.”
Tickets are available for this show here.
